The kitchen is well equipped and includes a gas stove, fridge, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery, and glasses. The dining area leads off the lounge. The lounge leads through doors to a veranda. A caretaker is available.

The park offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Meru, and large elephant herds are often viewed in an unusual swamp habitat. More than 425 species of birds have been recorded, and plenty of wildlife species can be spotted including lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, zebra, hippo, black rhino, Maasai giraffe, oryx, wildebeest, gerenuk, impala and Grant’s gazelle.
