About Khomeesdrif Camping Site

Khomeesdrif is a campsite on the banks of the Riviersonderend River, at the foothills of the Sonderend Mountains.This lovely site is wheelchair friendly and offers 40 camping and caravan sites on grass; most of them are shaded. The sites do not have electricity but the ablution block does. The ablution facilities also have solar-powered hot showers and flush toilets. Washing up and braai facilities are also provided and wood is available on request. Great sites available, love the trees and grass area.You can decide to be further away from the river and camp on lovely grass area a lot of space available there and definitely the quieter camper will enjoy. Lovely obstacle course there too for kids. Closer to the river edge it's more private but camp sites are closer together... A- camp site numbersOn the B side near B4, B5, B6 area it s nice... This is the second time we've camped at Khomeesdrif and we really enjoyed the improvements that they have made to the communal hang-out area. We always enjoy swimming in the river, the canoes are a bonus, there is lots of space, a nice kid's playground, the ablutions are clean and the vibe overall is cool. It would be FANTASTIC though, if they built another abolution block as well as a room only... Read more

Rykie and Alta are the most welcoming hosts and always willing to assist. Makes the entire experience just that much more fantastic. The unexpected show on Saturday was such a bonus. Thanks again.

A wonderful stay with my family at Khomeesdrift. Wonderful hosts, facilities and activities. Child safety an advantage and pet friendly too.

Ons het heerlik gekamp saam met ons Jack Russel. Die vlieë was met tye lastig en sal volgende keer genoeg citronella kerse saamneem.
