Kelkies Rest (Self Catering)

Kelkies Rest Self-catering is a cosy apartment for two guests in Kathu in the middle of the Kalahari Desert.The apartment is air-conditioned and has one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen and a living area. The bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. A single sofa bed is available and linen and bath towels are provided.The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Complimentary milk, tea and coffee will be provided for the first day.

The apartment has a TV with internet access so guests can watch Netflix and Wi-Fi is available. There is also a separate study room for business travellers.

Guests can cool off in the communal pool and small pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Pets are not allowed on the furniture and smoking is prohibited in the apartment.

Kathu has several restaurants and shops including the Kathu Village Shopping Center and the town is just south of the Camel Thorn Forest, a Natural Heritage Site. Guests can also play a round of golf at the highly acclaimed Sishen Golf and Country Club.
