Kedar Lodge offers visitors and conference delegates the perfect escape from the hectic pace of modern living. Situated in the North West Province; just 21km from Sun City, Kedar is built on a portion of Boekenhoutfontein, the historic farm that once belonged to President Paul Kruger.

The land around Kedar has been game fenced and is populated with a wide variety of game, including eland, blesbok, impala, bushbuck, nyala, kudu, zebra, blue wildebeest, giraffe and sable – making it a dream destination for nature lovers!

Kedar is also the ideal venue for functions, weddings and conferences, and can cater for up to 100 guests. Accommodation is offered in 66 African-themed stone and thatched rooms and suites, all of which are decorated with vibrant, hand-painted ethnic print fabrics and African artworks – reflecting Africa’s treasures

I booked this hotel for the 3rd time. And every next time the impression became worse and worse.1. The assigned room no 11 appeared to be with a broken door, which stuck in it's frame when closed. It was impossible to open it from inside without somebody being strong enough assisting you from outside. What do you think about fire safety? We were offered another room, but in two hours other guests cried from the window of room 11 asking somebody to help them to open the door. It is an IRRESPONCIBLE behaviour of hotel staff.2.
