Kasa Beach Hideaway

Kasa is a year-round paradise, consisting of 77-acres of tropical land, a lagoon and beach that meets the clear blue Indian Ocean. To complete the picture we have built a small beach lodge with bar, restaurant and lovely bungalows.On the beach there is an Arab dhow, converted into a bar, and we can offer a round of beach golf if requested. The stress and boredom of the daily life slips away, and is replaced by the quietness that is Kasa`s trademark. The silence is only broken by the cry of the fish eagles and the soft lapping of the waves from the Indian Ocean at Kasa`s doorstep

Situated on the edge of a plateau Kasa Beach Hideaway offers guests elegant bungalows with all facilities. The bungalows are built from coral stone with palm leaf roofs. There is a comfortable indoor climate with a soft, cool temperature as a result of the cooling sea breeze and a good protection against the sun. The open bungalow gives a good natural light and provides a wonderful view of the beach below. The rooms are tastefully decorated with tiled bathrooms with showers. Each bungalow has its own garden with a hammock, sun chairs and table. In addition they have a large terrace where you can relax with a beautiful view of the beach, the lagoon and the Indian Ocean.

The Canoe Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers an African cuisine with a wide variety of choices that are made to perfection with care and attention. Meals are enjoyed in cosy surroundings adjacent to a large terrace which is a perfect place for lazy afternoons just enjoying the fantastic view of the ocean.

In the cozy Rudder Bar you can relax and enjoy many different refreshments. We offer freshly-roasted banana chips and cashew nuts from Kasa Beach's own garden. The bar is built around a coconut tree and is assembled from parts of old dhows.

The Haifutwi Dhow Bar on the beach bar offers refreshments and snacks at "swim-time". The Bar is a romantic background whilst the sparkling fire and African music gives you a uniquely tropical sensation. If you are lucky you might even have a full moon which gives a romantic start to a magical evening.
