Important Information
Please note Karoo Ridge Conservancy is remote. Should you have trouble getting through to us with a phone call, try WhatsApp or please send us an email.
We like to have an estimated time of arrival so that we can make sure that we are available to meet you and show you to your accommodation.
The main farmhouse is 1 km from the accommodation.
Wi-Fi or mobile networks are not available, however, should you need to receive emails or make urgent calls let us know and you can come to the main farmhouse.
A fully catered service is available and needs to be organized 2 weeks prior to your visit.
Staff are available to service the accommodation daily should you wish.
Karoo Ridge Conservancy is powered by solar and gas.
Guests may encounter potentially dangerous animals as there are a number of wild indigenous animals which live in the Conservancy.
A safety net is available on request for the plunge pools. When booking Karoo Ridge River Lodge:
A minimum of 2 guests for 2 nights or 4 to 8 guests for a single night, need to book.
Well-behaved pets are allowed.
All dogs must be under their owner’s supervision and may not chase game.
Pets are not allowed on the furniture.
Assistance animals are always allowed When booking Karoo Ridge Mountain Lodge:
Regrettably the accommodation is not suitable for children or infants.
Guests are asked not to use the lodge towels at the dam
Smoking is not allowed.
Pets cannot be accommodated.
Parties or events are not allowed.
There is a water hole/small dam located in front of the Mountain Lodge. Wildlife and cattle utilize the water for drinking.
There is a potential for noise as the farm school runs during term time; depending on which way the wind is blowing you may hear children's voices at break time.
