About Karoo Gariep Tented Camp
We have realised that there are an increasing number of people who would prefer a more rustic camp idea, especially when spending more time in the area.
The Karoo Gariep Tents sleeps four guests in two separate tent compartments. The tent is well furnished with a double bed in the one compartment and two single beds in the other; the tent even features full floor carpeting; with the ablution facilities a mere 30 meters away.
The tent is pitched in the New Holme Guest House garden and has some privacy from the rest of the lodge. You can book meals at New Holme.
Every afternoon at 17h00 in winter and 18h00 in summer PC will take you on a relaxing drive down to the hippo pool. Enjoy sundowners on the hippo deck and watch the only hippos in the Karoo, while PC shares their incredible story with you.

We offer fixed tens as well as camping sites. With ablution facilities as well as braai.
