The only way in? A rowing boat (and canoes), provided by us. Adventure awaits as you navigate across the coca cola colour waters, to the mountain and riverside cottage. Uninterrupt
A four minute canoe trip brings you to the beach, which is located under the famous Outeniqua Choo Choo Railway bridge, an iconic symbol of the Garden Route. Sometimes, at spring tide, the river can become turquoise, wonderful for swimming.
Children can entertain themselves with the rowing boat, waterfall, swimming in the river and playing at the beach.

Important Information
PARTY POLICY:
We kindly request that you refrain from using our cottage as a party venue. While we want everyone to have a great time, rowdy parties are not permitted. Should any rowdiness arise, we reserve the right to terminate such gatherings.
IDEAL FOR FAMILIES:
Kaaimans River Cottage is tailor-made for families seeking a relaxing, back-to-nature experience by the beach and river. Let the kids explore, and let nature work its magic.
GUEST VISITS:
If you plan to host a few guests for a braai or a day visit, please reach out to us beforehand. We’re all about good vibes, and a heads-up ensures a seamless experience.
DEPOSIT DETAILS:
For the use of our rowing boat, canoes, and the cottage itself, we require an additional security/breakages/damages deposit of R 2000. Rest assured, this deposit will be promptly returned via EFT after our thorough exit inspection confirms the house is in good order.
POST-DEPARTURE CLEANING FEE: A post-departure cleaning fee of R1000 applies to all bookings. We’ll handle the tidying up – you focus on the memories.
PAYMENT TERMS:
Secure your spot with a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival. For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, 100% of the Total Confirmed Price is payable upfront.
