Joubertsdal, founded in 1792, is one of the oldest farmsteads in the area and is situated along the R60-highway just 17km outside Swellendam, right at the foot of the majestic Langeberg Mountain. Joubertsdal offers a modern venue for weddings or any special event and accommodates up to 160 guests.

Marloth Nature Reserve is hidden away in the imposing Swellendam Mountains, between Swellendam, Ashton, Barrydale and Suurbraak. Marloth offers various day trails, ranging from easy, short walks to more strenuous, longer hikes.
