Set on over 30 acres on the banks of the River Nile, Jinja Nile Resort commands a strategic location providing a panoramic view of the great River Nile. The property has been beautifully landscaped with lush lawns, palm trees and tropical plants. Jinja Nile Resort is 80 km from Kampala City, 4 km from Jinja Town and less than 5 minutes’ drive from Kimaka Airstrip. Both the famous Bujagali falls and the source of the Nile are only 4 km from the resort.

The resort has 140 guest rooms, all with a double and a single bed. The rooms are colonial-type cottages and allow for plenty of privacy. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, a small sitting room, a work desk and a private balcony. Room service is also available to all clients staying at the hotel. A comfortable lounge is available to all resident guests and a gift shop in the front office area stocks daily essentials for hotel guests.

Our kitchen has been designed to provide appetizing local and international cuisine to guests in various service points. There are three strategically located restaurants equipped to offer professional service to international standards. Each restaurant has a Nile-facing terrace and views of the surrounding countryside. For those requiring privacy during their meals, the hotel has two private dining rooms to meet this requirement. The resort has five bars stocked with a wide selection of wines, spirits and beers.

The Resort Health Club is equipped with the Italian-techno gym equipment offering several cardiovascular and free-weight machines. A large private rest room is provided for guests to relax and refresh themselves after enjoying the facilities at the gym, sauna, steam bath and massage parlor. For recreation and entertainment, the resort offers a free-form deck swimming pool with a separate children’s section, badminton, one professional pool table and darts. The hotel also has a squash court and a tennis court for the more active guests.
