Jembisa is situated within its own private game reserve in the heart of the beautiful Waterberg plateau, 3 hours north of Johannesburg. It is a totally spoiling safari destination – a luxury country house safari lodge – with delicious food, great comfort, massages and a wide variety of game-viewing and wildlife activities.Jembisa can be taken on an exclusive use or non exclusive use option, allowing for groups of all sizes to make use of the lodge and the reserve. Jembisa and its sister lode Magari lend themselves perfectly as a romantic safari destination wedding venue. Weddings of any size can be arranged up to a maximum of 45 guests, who would be accommodated across the two lodges and our bush camps.
We are perfectly suited for family safari's, allowing all ages on our safari activities. We have a special children's bunk room, as well as a play room located with in the lodge for the kids to enjoy.
We pledge to implement a high standard of hygiene and cleaning protocols to ensure the safest environment possible for our guests. We adhere to the industry safety protocols set out by the Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA).
At Jembisa Bush Home all safari activities on the property are included in the rate - guided game drives, walks, mountain biking and fishing.
