The Plot includes the Jacobs Bay Backpackers, The Pixie and Fairy Village, The West Coast Labyrinth and the Succulent Nursery and is located just 400m from the beach. It is an ideal venue and accommodation for family get-togethers, weddings, weekend getaways and corporate events. There are plenty of private areas for entertaining for groups and couples. Facilities include female and male ablutions and a communal kitchen. There is a play area for kids and our front office can arrange any local tours. The shop sells ice, firewood and the gift and curio shop sell fairies, pixies, dreamcatchers and kiddies’ toys. The Succulent Nursery sells a wide variety of cacti, succulents, native plants and rock art. The new West Coast Labyrinth is free for visitors to walk and enjoy.

Jacobs Bay is situated between popular tourism towns of Langebaan and Paternoster. This authentic West Coast village is wrapped around seven pristine bays and beaches. This area is a favourite amongst, fishermen, surfers, birdwatchers, hikers and nature lovers. The Plot is situated in the Cape West Coast Biosphere Reserve and many wildlife species can be seen along the way in the wild or along the nature reserves and private animal parks. The coastline provides scenic hiking trails with magnificent views of the ocean. Guests enjoy day trips to nearby national parks, towns and historical places such as the West Coast Fossil Park on Langebaanweg. Wine lovers enjoy the Darling Wine Route and nature lovers, the West Coast National Park. Fishermen can fish along the Jacobs Bay coast, the Langebaan Lagoon, Swartriet beaches and the Berg River. The Plot is a perfect stopover for guests traveling to and from Namibia on the N7. Peak flower season is between the 15th of August until 15th September and The Plot is the ideal place to live amongst this incredible display of nature.
