Isandlwana Lodge is pleased to announce the opening of a guesthouse which is an attractive, thatched-roof building, surrounded by the Lodge on one side and the village of Isandlwana on the other. We stayed in the smaller unit. Apparently, they do not keep an ongoing inventory of the two separate kitchen units of the guest house, so that basic cooking utensils were not available when we arrived. We had to wait for somebody to open the other unit to pick what we needed (which would have resulted in missing items had there been other guests).The fact that they do not mention a dining area... Absolutely top notch accomodation. We enjoyed such great hospitality from the Lodge Staff and were enthralled by Rob's tales of the Battlefields. Shocking road - but well worth the trip.
