About Imani Bush House & Silver Sky Chalet

Imani Bush House is private and nestled in the trees on the Kuleni Game Park sand forest. With plunge pools, a shady breeze, game viewing from the deck and a network of walking trails out the back door, the world stands still while you relax and listen to birds or explore the park on foot.

We have two accommodation options on the property:

IMANI BUSH HOUSE: The main house sleeps 6. This lovely self-catering property features a spacious double bedroom, large en-suite with an outdoor shower. A second twin bedroom faces the plunge pool, also en-suite. The house and rooms have glass doors that completely open to views of the bush and lawn with a charming tree swing. THE CABIN next to the main house sleeps 2 and is also en suite. Perfect for kids or a couple wanting more space, THE CABIN is also where the grilling area is. The central lounge is large and comfortable with DStv and open-plan layout with a fully equipped kitchen and bar counter. The front of the lodge is entirely embraced by a wide wooden deck with a plunge pool and 8-seater dining table. All windows are floor to ceiling and fully slide/stack open so you can sit inside and still appreciate the bush surroundings. A second wooden deck out back has a pool table and outdoor drinks fridge.

SILVER SKY CHALET: 40 meters away from the main house the Chalet is our 1-bedroom couples retreat with a self-catering kitchenette, DStv, deck, plunge pool, outdoor shower, grilling area and it's own beautiful private lawn. Silver Sky can be rented separately or together with Imani Bush House.

THINGS TO DO:

We have a lovely network of walking trails within Kuleni. Small water holes are a few meters from each property and a bird hide is just a 150 meter walk through the forest. The park has Nyala, kudu, wildebeest, red duiker, giraffe, warthog and impala that wander freely (and through the front yard when it's quiet) plus an abundance of bird life.

The Memorial Gate entrance to Hluhluwe-iMfolzi Park is a 35 minute drive from us and great for an afternoon self-drive in a Big 5 park. uMkuze Game Reserve (also Big 5) is roughly 50 minutes away and they have absolutely lovely bird hides and places on their pan to bring a picnic lunch. False Bay Park is just 20 minutes away with beautiful picnic spots on the lake shore.

Kuleni Game Park is a quiet and peaceful place; no loud noises or loud music is allowed.

Safari: Nyala, kudu, wildebeest, red duiker, giraffe, warthog and impala sightings are common plus an abundance of bird life. A network of well-marked walking trails lets guests explore. We are also close to Hluhluwe and Big 5 game reserve in the area.

Romantic: Both our properties are private and nestled in the trees in a quite part of the reserve. Perfect for getting away to spend time together in a relaxing setting.
