About Ilita Lodge

Ilita Lodge is a beautiful 4 star guest lodge situated in the heart of the Garden Route in Great Brak River, right between George and Mossel Bay. Barely 5 minutes drive from the beach and surrounded by spectacular views of the river mouth, ocean and Mossel Bay landscapes, Ilita Lodge suits any travellers needs. Ilita Lodge has 12 en-suite rooms each with a private balcony, mini bar, free Wi-Fi, hot beverage facility, air conditioning, and television with DSTV. Ilita Lodge offers guests the use of the following on site facilities: gym, forest trail, De Ja View coffee shop and bar, Mon Ami Lapa Restaurant and 2x swimming pools. Ilita Lodge also offers competitive corporate and golfing packages. And if guests don't want the B&B option, Ilita Lodge also has 7 Self Catering apartments with spectacular views, modern amenities and braai facilities.

Safari: There are more than 3 Safari Lodges within driving distance to the lodge. Ilita Lodge is also happy to help with any bookings, packages etc for guests interested in visiting one of the nearby Game Farms.

Beach: A short 5-minute drive away is the Southern Cross Beach. The beach is well known for its cleanliness as well as being a quieter beach. This beach is perfect for gorgeous sunset walks or a swim in the lagoon.

Spa: There are a number of Spa's within driving distance from the lodge. Two of the popular ones are Pure Senses and Fancourt. Ilita Lodge is also happy to help with any bookings, packages etc for guests interested in visiting one of the nearby Spa's.

Golf: There are 5 courses within a 30-minute proximity to the lodge. Ilita Lodge is happy to assist with any Garden Route golfing requirements, course bookings, packages, etc .

Wedding Venues: Our Banquet hall is the perfect reception venue. Stunning by day and breathtaking at night. A seating capacity of up to 100 guests and a Lapa that can be converted into a chapel on request.

Conference Venues: Offering four projectors and screens, high-speed wireless internet. Quiet, comfortable and easy to use venue with state of the art technology. Up to 80 people can be accommodated. Includes whiteboards, flipcharts, aircon and stunning views.

Family friendly: Children are welcome to make use of the swimming pools, jungle gym, pool tables, and open space! Our family rooms either have a child-friendly sleeper couch or bunk bed and a cot is available on request as well as a high chair.

Romantic: Set amongst the pine forest and Fynbos gardens, our intimate and warm venues can be transformed into the perfect space for your special day. Ilita Lodge can host the entire event with bespoke packages designed to meet individual needs.

                                                      The owner was amazing. Very friendly. Staff were friendly and very helpful at all times. We had an amazing view from our bedroom. The site looking down to the bay was extraordinary. The lodge was centrally conveniently located. This is the place to be for rest or pleasure. Would definitely recommend it and would like to stay here again.
