About Hudsons on Twelfth

Hudsons on Twelfth is an elegant and classically designed guesthouse situated in Rivonia, Sandton.

All rooms are individually designed and decorated, with either a private patio and garden view or a view into a delightful forest that forms part of the beautiful gardens. The rooms are furnished with queen or king-size beds and some rooms have a beautiful outdoor bathroom with a shower. Each room is also equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a TV with select DStv channels, and free Wi-Fi access.

The guesthouse has a fully licensed cocktail bar, a sports lounge, and an elegant restaurant with a fireplace. Breakfast is served and lunch and dinner are available on request. Guests can also relax and cool down in the saltwater pool.

I had to ask for a hairdryer. I had to ask for a heater(room really cold,with no electric blanket). I had to ask for a 2pointplug. There was only a trickle of water from the wash basin tap....Breakfast a room was nice,though.

Stayed one night , staff friendly and courteous , but the room was disjointed , had 2 bathrooms and some sections where the walls don't meet the roof , opened the awning to have alot of leaves and debris fall into the room.

Melleney's is a wonderful alternative to impersonal hotels. Very well situated close to Sandton CBD and easy access to the highway and airport. The staff are friendly, the breakfasts freshly made on order and the honesty bar makes you really feel unobserved and at home. The Rose Suite where we stayed has a gem of a little garden and the room spacious. We stayed for 4 nights and we never feel cramped. Stay and enjoy!
