Situated within 15 minutes' walking distance to Windhoek City Centre, Hotel Uhland is your ideal starting point to visit Windhoek.

The lovely Standard Single Rooms and Standard Double Rooms are equipped with air-conditioning/ heater, telephone, TV, a fridge and coffee and tea facilities. All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms with toilets and shower. For a little more comfort, choose the nicer Superior Rooms. Standard Rooms with connecting doors are available, ideal for families or small groups. Please let us know upon reservation.

Hotel Uhland's breakfast buffet is famous for the delicious fresh fruit salad, cheese and cold meat platters, Namibian smoked meat, farm-made jam as well as a variety of bread and rolls. Fried or scrambled eggs and omelettes can also be prepared, and early departures can order a packed breakfast the day before. Tea and coffee is served in the afternoon. Light Lunch or Dinner snacks are on offer, complimented with a variety of Namibian beers, South African wines and a selection of soft drinks.

Fast and reliable Internet access ( Wi-Fi) as well as a small library and book exchange is available free of charge. Nice shady spaces are all over the premises and the splash pool provides a welcome relief from the hot, afternoon sunshine. For small conferences or meetings, the breakfast room or the adjoining room can be placed at your disposal.

An interesting part of the hotel's grounds is the spacious aviary with a variety of colourful love birds. The garden also attracts indigenous birds. Guests can visit the various museums, botanical garden or take a city tour, which will also lead you to the township, Katutura. For hiking trails, guests can visit the Aloe-Trail right in the city or the Dan Viljoen National Park, located 20 km outside the city.

Family friendly: We do offer family rooms and rooms with connecting doors. Children up to 5 years sleep free of charge in the parents room and kids from 6 to 11 years only pay 95,00 N$! We offer baby cots for the rooms and a baby seat in our breakfast room.

Covid Safety Approved: Our premises are cleaned with the recommended hygiene cleaning products. Our staff is trained in following hygiene measurements like regular hand washing, wearing of masks and keeping social distance. We care for the health of our guests and staff!
