Hotel L'Ocean is located at Anse Patates, on the northern point of La Digue, which is considered the most beautiful island of the Seychelles archipelago. From the hotel, you can see a marvellous panorama with a view on the islands of Félicité, Grand Soeur, Petite Soeur and Marianne.

This is a quiet and pleasant environment, and the hotel is ideally located to make the most of the beauty and tranquility of such an extraordinary location. It's an ideal place for those who seek rest, peace and silence. The natural surroundings are enjoyable and the village is just 1.5 km away. Our guests have the opportunity to spot sea turtles and at times, even dolphins from the restaurant terrace.

The hotel is conveniently located up the headland and right by the sea, allowing guests to enjoy the fresh breeze, thoroughly enjoyable year-round in Seychelles. The hotel is surrounded by luxuriant, yet not stifling, tropical vegetation. Guests can rent a bicycle directly at the hotel to make the most of the surroundings and the island in full, with the furthest point less than 5 km away.

Our restaurant offers excellent food, with varied Creole cuisine as a set menu or à la carte, and service is attentive and polite. Every two or three days, live dinner music is played by a local musician. The extraordinary view, the sea breeze and the covered dining area will let you savour every moment spent at the restaurant. The brightly coloured local birds know about this too and are not shy; guests can watch them as they dare to peck the last breadcrumb from their dish.

Our spacious, simple and comfortable rooms all feature a large private balcony and an incomparable view of the sea. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, small fridge, bathroom with shower, and electrical sockets and adapters for all appliances, and valuables can be stored in the safe at the reception if required. The hotel also offers extra beach towels that can be changed for fresh ones every day. There are no radios or TV sets in the rooms as a way to guarantee quietness for all guests, but those who wish to check their email can do so by asking at reception.
