Important Information

CHECK-IN TIMES AND AFTER HOUR ARRIVALS
Check-in time is between 14:00 and 16:00 on weekdays, and between 09:00 and 13:00 on a Saturday.
Check-ins after hours, on Sundays or Public Holidays must be arranged in advance with a specific time of arrival confirmed.
If you do not check-in during the above hours or at the confirmed pre-arranged time, your booking will be viewed as cancelled and that you failed to inform so.
We do not have a 24-hour front desk and the Bookings Manager unfortunately does not reside on the property.

CHECK-OUT TIMES, SELF CHECK-OUT AND ROOM KEYS
Check-out time is at 10:00 on the morning of your departure.
If you need to leave before our front desk opens at 08:00 or are departing on a Sunday or Public Holiday, you need to do a self check-out.
Do not leave the key in your room’s door or leave the unit unlocked.
Please ensure that the lights are switched off and that all the windows are closed properly.
Kindly lock your unit and deposit the keys in the white accommodation key box situated against the facebrick wall directly next to Guestroom 1, on the front side of the Manor House.

BREAKFAST AND BREAKFAST TIMES
We do not have set breakfast serving times and kindly request that you arrange your preferred breakfast time with the Bookings Manager in advance.
Breakfast can be served any time between 08:00 and 11:30 in the morning.
Should you fail to confirm a breakfast time in advance or require breakfast to be earlier and we are unable to accommodate such a time, we will provide you with a breakfast parcel/parcels that will be placed in your room’s mini fridge accordingly.

HOUSEKEEPING
Housekeeping normally takes place from 10:00 in the morning.
Should you wish for the cleaners to come at an earlier or later time, please arrange so in advance with the Bookings Manager and not with the cleaners directly.
Please note that our cleaners make use of the doorway that leads into the building from your room, and that they will knock before they enter.
Unfortunately, we do not offer laundry services.

SUNDAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
Please note that we are closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Instead of a sit-down breakfast, your room will receive a breakfast parcel/parcels that will be placed inside the mini fridge on the day prior.
Kindly be aware that there will also be no housekeeping and that we will provide you with adequate amenities during housekeeping on the previous day.

MOTOR GATES AND SECURITY LOCKDOWN
Upon arrival at our main gate, please dial 1 at the intercom in order for one of our staff members to open for you.
Our electric motor gates open automatically when you exit with a vehicle. Please stop close enough to the gate in order to trigger the sensor.
Your room key is fitted with a gate remote control to use when you need to enter the property throughout the day.
Please note that for safety purposes all our gates are on security lockdown from midnight every night.
Your gate remote control will not be able to open the middle gate situated at the bottom of the vineyards during the security lockdown, and we kindly request that you please use the back gate behind the Manor House to exit and enter between 00:00 and 07:00.

WIFI INTERNET
You can connect your mobile devices to the free Wi-Fi internet that is available in all our B&B guestrooms.

NOISE LEVELS AND FELLOW GUESTS
We kindly ask your consideration towards other guests by minimizing noise levels and disturbances.

SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not allowed inside any of the buildings.
Please make use of the dedicated sand-filled pot plant containers on the property or discard your killed cigarette in your unit’s dustbin.
Please do not discard any cigarettes in the garden beds or planted pots.

DRINKING WATER AND WATER SUPPLY
We use purified borehole water on the property, providing clean drinking water from the taps.
Please be aware that during power outages, such as Eskom load shedding, the pumps will not be able to transfer water to the facilities and you will be unable to use the taps or flush the toilet.
The water flow will restore to normal once the power goes back on and we appreciate your patience in this regard.

SWIMMING POOL AN BRAAI FACILITIES
Using the swimming pool is done completely at own risk. Please be cautious with your personal safety in mind.
Do not enter the swimming pool with any food or drinks.
Kindly be considerate towards other guests and do not litter around the swimming pool and braai area.
The braai area is completely self-catering and you need to provide your own meat, side dishes, braai wood, fire lighters, grid, braai utensils, cutlery and crockery.
Please ensure that the coals left from the fire is killed properly when you leave, especially on a windy day in order to prevent fire risk.

WEDDING VENUE
Please take note that we have a wedding and function venue on the premises that is part of the Manor House. During your stay there may be music playing in the background and visitors walking around on the premises.
We apologize for any inconvenience and kindly ask for your patience and understanding.
The venue normally closes at midnight and all music will stop at an appropriate time.
