Situated on the famous whale watching route, Heuningklip (translated to Honeyrock), a suburb of Kleinmond, is nestled between the ocean and the Overberg mountain range. The lodge, Honeyrock Cottages, is at the foot of the Kogelberg in the biosphere of the same name on a protea farm - complete tranquillity and peace.Surrounded by lush lawns and magnificent views of the mountains to the north, we guarantee that you will instantly relax. Mountains that rise 1500 ft (457m) above sea level are contrasted with sights of the ocean to the south allows for a quiet retreat.
2,5km from the closest beach.
There is a 9 hole golf course in Kleinmond, as well as Arabella just 20km away, as well as the golf course in Hermanus.
Our wedding venue caters for up to 120 guests. The wedding planning & set up services are provided, flowers, catering on site with bar> The combination of barn/outdoor fairy lights makes it the perfect setting for a relaxed & affordable venue.
We can accommodate small groups of up to 48 people in our conference facility. We provide accommodation for 12 singles in the cottages (7 couples or 7 couples & 6 singles) We also have a house that sleeps 18 in 3 bedrooms and one loft room.
Very child friendly. There are expanses of lawn and open space for kids to play. We are also 2,5 km from the nearest beach and lagoon.
The secluded farm is picturesque and perfect for a romantic get away. Each unit is tastefully decorated with the hues and warmth of the indigenous flora (fynbos & proteas) and is equipped for self catering.
