★★★★★ Pictures on the website are misleading. They are not of Planters camp only the Lodge. No hot water. Beds very hard.

★★★★★ We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here! We stayed in Mkhulu's lodge which is a beautiful house set a bit away from the lodge. We had a lovely time as a family and couldnt have wanted for anything more.The lodge organised a wonderful picnic basket for us the one day so that we could stay in the game reserve and the meals we had at the lodge were superb. ★★★★★ We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge, food was excellent and the staff was extremely helpful. We couldn't find the river, but there's currently a drought. The lodge is a good place to stay if your looking to explore Hluhluwe nature reserve or false bay. Just be aware they allow children of all ages, which is a pain when a bunch of children runs around basing things in the lodge and babies are crying... Read more

The view is spectacular and the villa well equipped with it's own swimming pool.The rooms are spacious and it is totally secluded and private so a great place to unwind. The bush walk on site is also fabulous and there are a number of attractions around within reasonable driving distance.
