Hide-Away Guest House in Knysna, is your home away from home whilst travelling along the Garden Route. This Bed & Breakfast, located on the main road into town and offering amazing views of the Knysna Estuary and Heads, offers 7 well-appointed en-suite double rooms. Rooms are fitted with mini bar, complimentary tea and coffee tray, air-conditioning, fan, hairdryer and gowns. Safari: We have no on-site safari but can recommend the Plettenberg Game Reserve, Botlierskop or the Garden Route Game Reserve

Beach: Hide-Away Guest House is located approx. 20 minutes away from the lovely Brenton-on-Sea beach. Walk from Brenton to Buffalo Bay and during the whaling season (June - October) you may well get to see some whales.

Spa: We do not offer spa facilities but are close to the following: ZenSense, Simola Spa, Amani Spa in the Turbine Boutique Hotel and the Pezula Spa.

Golf: Hide-Away Guest House is located approx. 15 minutes from Simola Golf Estate or 20 minutes from the Knysna Golf Course and 25 minutes from Pezula Golf Estate. We can arrange tee-off times for guests.

Wedding Venues: Nearby wedding venues include the chapel in Belvidere and Villa Castollini.

Conference Venues: We do not offer conference facilities but are well located to a number of establishments that do, i.e. Knysna Hollow, Simola, Premier Hotel and Pezula.

Family friendly: We are an easy going establishment but do not accept children under the age of 12.

Covid Safety Approved: The property has been disinfected. Staff trained on cleaning regime and will wear the appropriate PPEs. A period of 24 hours before another guest occupies a room. This provides sufficient time for deep cleaning and sanitisation.

★★★★★ Everything was perfect. Colleen welcomed us and allowed us to check in earlier. She was so helpful with giving us directions and tourist attractions to visit. The breakfast was top class! Colleen and her husband were both very helpful and constantly making sure we were not bored. Wish we could have stayed with them longer. I will definitely return to their Guest House any day!!!
