About Hermanus Lodge on the Green

Hermanus Lodge on the Green is nestled at the foot of the majestic Overberg mountain range and is perfect for exploring the beautiful town of Hermanus. The lodge overlooks the 25th green of the popular Hermanus Golf Course and it's only minutes away from pristine beaches, the world-famous Cliff Path as well as the restaurants and boutique shops in the village of Hermanus. Our 7 beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms are ranked among the finest accommodation in Hermanus.

All guests are treated to a personally prepared breakfast as they watch the early morning golfers making their way to the nearby green. Breakfast can be enjoyed either overlooking the golf course or outside on the pool terrace.

During our winter months, guests can enjoy walks along our unique 12-kilometre cliff path where sightings of a mother whale and her new-born calf coming within meters of the rocky shoreline will take their breath away. Late afternoons can be spent in our comfortable lounge with its inviting open fireplace as you watch the shadows lengthen on the fairway.

Our sun-drenched swimming pool with its magnificent mountain view is the perfect place to spend a summer’s afternoon, and our private courtyard, overlooked by the Fernkloof Nature Reserve, is perfect for that summer sun-downer.

Golf: Hermanus Lodge on the Green overlooks the 25th green of the popular Hermanus Golf Course, is a mere 25 minutes drive from the Arabella Championship Course and 30 minutes from the challenging 9-hole Kleinmond Golf Course.

We could not have been happier with this B&B. The lodge is conveniently situated close to all the attractions of Hermanus. Our bedroom was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfasts were excellent and beautifully presented. Nobby and Wendy Clark are superb hosts.
