About Hendersons Lodge
Hendersons Lodge offers luxurious accommodation, conveniently situated just off the N5 Highway in Senekal. The lodge offers room only accommodation ideal for holiday makers and business travellers.
The spacious rooms are comfortably furnished with double or twin beds, with lush percale linen. Each room includes en-suite bathrooms, and block-out curtains to provide a tranquil retreat for the night. The lodge also offers private entrances, secure parking, free Wi-Fi and barbecue facilities available.
Children under the age of 8 are allowed to share the room with their parents at no extra charge. Adjacent rooms are available on request for persons travelling with young children; subject to availability.
Hendersons Boutique Lodge will gladly assist with any special requests for any anniversaries, birthdays or honeymoon couples.

Important Information
The terms and conditions below apply for reservations made by all individuals, private persons or companies, unless a special agreement has been made. Separate rules apply for group reservations over 10 persons. The lodge reserves the right to apply special terms and conditions that differ from these in case of public holidays, special events, seasonality or additional services require so.
1. Booking and confirmation:
When reserving a room your name, contact number, address, arrival- and departure time and method of payment are required.
A room reservation is binding once it has been confirmed verbally or in writing and you have received a reservation confirmation. The lodge is entitled to apply different kinds of rules such as reservation fee or credit card guarantee in order to secure the reservation.
2. Arrival and departure:
The room is at your disposal from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival. On your departure day the room must be vacated by 10:00. The lodge is entitled to apply exceptions on check-in and check-out times stated above. For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private premises and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed.
3. Guaranteed reservation:
The lodge accepts VISA and MASTER cards to guarantee the room reservation. A guaranteed room reservation will be held for arrival after 4:00 pm without a separate notification.
To guarantee the reservation the lodge will need the following information: your name, credit card details, address, phone number and email address. The lodge may acquire your contact details verbally or in writing.
4. Cancellations an no shows:
In case you fail to arrive without cancelling your reservation, the lodge is entitled to charge equal to the first night's stay including taxes and possible additional services per room to your credit card.
5. Early departure:
If your reservation is for several nights, the lodge is entitled to charge you the full amount for the whole stay. Early departure before the agreed day may also cause changes in the room rate confirmed.
6. Payment:
The lodge accepts the most common credit/debit cards. The lodge is not obliged to accept foreign currency, vouchers, cheques or credit/debit cards unless the lodge has volunteered to do so.
In case the reservation has not been paid in advance it should be settled upon arrival at the lodge by cash or credit card. When reserving a room the lodge is entitled to approve and charge international credit cards. A reservation fee may be charged to the credit card as a prepayment. This will be deducted from the final bill. If the lodge has not made an approval for prepayment from your credit card, the lodge is entitled to require a deposit for additional services or breakages. The amount of deposit may vary between R500-R1000.
7. Guest behaviour in and at the lodge:
We follow good manners and lodge rules at the lodge. In case of breaking these rules you may be immediately removed from the premises. In such cases you are still obliged to pay for the accommodation and additional services ordered. You are not eligible to claim a refund for payments already made.
For safety reasons, only checked-in guests are allowed on private lodge premises such as lodge rooms and the maximum capacity per room may not be surpassed unless previously arranged with management.
8. Responsibility for your valuables:
Your valuables can be stored at the lodge upon request. The lodge is entitled to collect a charge for storage of these items. In case the items you wish to store are exceptionally valuable, you must notify the lodge before storing. The lodge may refuse to store this kind of valuables. The lodge is not responsible for damage or disappearance of vehicles kept in the lodge’s parking area or valuables inside the vehicle. The lodge is obliged to clearly express at the parking area that the area is not supervised and the lodge is not responsible for the property kept there.
9. Guests responsibility for Damages:
As a guest you are responsible for damage caused on purpose or by accident by you, your guest or your pet in the lodge room or in lodge premises. This applies also to the lodge furniture and other equipment, other guests in the lodge or their property.
The responsibility for caused damage is determined by general principles.
10. Renting lodge rooms for minors:
Only a person over the age of 18 is allowed to make a reservation. The adult making a reservation for a person under the age of 18 will be held responsible for the minor, whether he or she accommodates with the minor or not. An under-age person travelling alone will need a letter of consent signed by a guardian. The letter has to include the minor’s name, birthday and dates of arrival and departure. The name and contact information of a guardian are also required.
