Happy Home is situated in the quiet neighbourhood of Imhoff's Gift and offers guests a choice of self-catering accommodation. Happy Home is situated in the quiet neighbourhood of Imhoff's Gift and offers guests a choice of self-catering accommodation. Imhoff’s Gift is part of Kommetjie, a quaint little seaside village on the southern peninsula of the Cape.

We have 3 rooms to choose from and a Garden cottage for groups or families.
Room 1 – The Protea Suite
This is our best room, situated on the 1st floor of the main house, this large room with full en-suite bathroom and dressing room. The room opens up onto a balcony with views that will make you come back for more. The picture-perfect view consists of views of the fresh water lake, the Noordhoek Wetlands and the Atlantic Ocean- and all this on the beautiful back drop of Chapmans Peak which is part of the Table Mountain range. The room offers a bar fridge and tea and coffee facilities.

Room 2 – The Cherry Blossom suite
Large and comfortable carpeted room situated on the ground floor and it opens up onto the pool & entertainment area. This room offers an en-suite bathroom with a bath only. It has a comfortable seating area and overlooks the pool and garden. It offers guest a bar fridge and coffee & tea facilities.

Room 3 – The Fynbos Standard room
This smaller room is for the traveller on a budget. It offers double bed and tea & coffee facilities and a bar fridge. This room might be smaller but you still have access to the whole house, and can enjoy your time relaxing at the pool or having a sundowner on the sundeck.

The Garden Cottage
This loose standing house offers guest 3 bedrooms in a more private setting. It has a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, lounge area and plenty outside space for a braai or family activities. It also offers ample parking space, and has its own entrance from the street. This quiet and well-kept cottage has a shared bathroom with a bath and shower and guest toilet. Ideal for a family vacation or a break for a group of friends or family.

Both properties have internet access, and guests can pre book our lovely breakfast at the property.
The private estate of Imhoff’s Gift is very security conscious and as a result are an extremely safe neighbourhood. We also enjoy a low tolerance to noise and effectively the estate operates on a quiet time from 10pm to 7am. This said we are very fortunate to enjoy a variety of wild life of which our most precious gift is the bird life. You can expect to hear fish eagle and a whole lot of other interesting bird life.


Attractions in the area include Imhoff Farm, Imhoff Equestrian Centre, Kommetjie to Noordhoek Beach, Action Paintball Area 51, Fisherman's Basket and Cape point.
