We offer nine en-suite air-conditioned chalets, each with DStv and complimentary tea and coffee-making facilities. Our rooms accommodate two adults or up to four in a family arrangement. We also have a large shaded camping ground overlooking the Kafue River, fully equipped with socket points, lights, an ablution block, and barbecue facilities. A limited number of tents are also available for hire. The main lodge comprises an open bar with a large outdoor swimming pool and Wi-Fi Internet access and computers are available.
Gwabi River Lodge lends itself to supporting local communities and all our friendly staff come from the local villages and surrounding area. The lodge team speak proudly of their local history and socio-culture, while taking a trip on the river game viewing . Gwabi also offers some of the best fishing spots in Zambia and we have a fleet of boats for hire. The lodge team will show you the best fishing locations or can take you on a sundown cruise. Canoes are also available for hire and up to three-day trips down stream can be arranged. For bird watchers, this is the ultimate spot to find over a hundred species of birds.
