Gorongosa Wild Camps are set up in different regions of the untouched wilderness of the mighty Gorongosa National Park, a wild pristine environment of some 4,000 square kilometres in Sofala province, Central Mozambique. Gorongosa Wild Camp is a seasonal campsite set inside the park, it includes equipped tents, with basic amenities.
All tents offer an option of double or twin beds and have en-suite bathrooms, complete with modern conveniences like flush toilets, and our signature “Nature’s Splash” bucket shower experience. There is solar lighting in tents. An all-inclusive meal plan is included in your stay.

Gorongosa Wild Camp describes a nomadic camping style with minimal environmental impact and with rustic charm, amenities, and service, normally not associated with traditional camping.

The Park offers an amazing safari experience, and it is a true paradise for ornithologists and wildlife enthusiasts. Among many other extraordinary species, sightings in Gorongosa and around Muzimu include lion, African wild dog, leopard, elephant, buffalo, blue-wildebeest, crawshay’s zebra, sable antelope, nyala and kudu.
All safaris (jeep, foot, or boat) are led by qualified and experienced guides.
