Important Information
Conditions to note: Wood is available on arrival at no cost . Thereafter the groundsmen are available to restock wood at a given rate per bag. ELECTRICITY & ENERGY CONSERVATION: To minimize our carbon footprint, the electricity on the farm is supplied by Solar with a backup generator.To prevent inconvenience please conserve energy – no power will mean no water, showers and toilets- Switch off lights when not needed- Switch off the TV when not watching. The TV is equipped with a motion sensor which will automatically turn off if no movement is detected within 7 minutes, and will switch on again when movement is detected.- Fridge/Freezer and stove is supplied by gas. Please ask the manager to start the generator to use a hairdryer, and not more than one hairdryer to be used at the same time.- No electric heaters and electric blankets or other electrical appliances permitted- Hot water is supplied by gas geysers. Due to water pressure, please don’t run the bath and shower at the same time.
