About Gin & Jack Beach House
Gin & Jack is a beautiful self-catering beach house located in Mozambique, on a coastal dune. Guest can expect the most spectacular, breath-taking views.
The holiday home can accommodate twelve guests. It comprises three rooms with king-size beds and two bathrooms. There are three bunk beds on a mezzanine level.
The balcony features a 180-degree view of the stunning Barra Beach and the Indian Ocean. We look forward to welcoming you to our little piece of paradise.

Important Information
Please notify us of late arrival so that we can have someone attending to you when you arrive.
House Rules:
Smoking: Please don’t smoke inside the Beach House. Ashtrays are provided for smoking outside or on the deck.
Damage: Please report any maintenance issues or damage to Paulo in order for him to arrange replacement or repair. We love our place and would appreciate it if you would treat all the contents as if it were your own and care for it as such.
Noise: Please be courteous to the neighbours if you wish to play music. Please don’t play loud music after midnight.
Litter: Please use dustbins provided to avoid rubbish making its way to the ocean and harming the sea life.
Valuables: Please avoid unnecessary temptation and don’t leave valuables in the open if you leave the house for an extended period of time. We will not be held responsible for any loss.
Hawkers: Although we are advocates of supporting the local community, we urge you to not encourage seafood and craft vendors from coming to the house level. For safety and security, we recommend having them sell their goods on the storeroom level. We have instructed our security and cleaning staff to ensure the vendors waiting for you on the lower level.
Malaria: Barra Beach is a Malaria Area so please use mosquito nets and repellents. The use of Malaria prophylaxis is highly recommended.
Water: Please don’t drink the water from the tap unless it has been boiled and filtered. Please make sure the ice you drink is made from bottled, boiled and filtered water.
Gin and Jack will Supply daily: Toilet Paper, Garbage Bags, Cleaning Equipment and Materials
Housekeeper: The housekeeper will come every morning at around 09:00 to clean the house, washing and ironing and make beds. She will do your laundry for you and leave the clean and ironed clothes in a basket for you to collect. If you would like her to come at a different time, please arrange directly with her.
Security Guard: This is a useful contact to arrange the local catch of the day though and he may also be able to run some errands for you in exchange for a tip
