Upon arrival after driving 8 hours we were pleasantly informed that they had given our fully paid pre booked room to another couple. There was no solution to their mistake only complaints and excuses from their side. After 3 hours their was absolutely nothing done and we were only refunded but they failed tosecure us another spot and expected us to pay for it. Disgusted Terrible hospitalityUseless... Read more

Gamboozini Lodge was sold to us as a lodge via Safarinow.com which it definitely is not, it is a great backpackers/camping venue. We had campers right outside our chalet who had more rights and privileges than the high paying chalet dwellers. We went to ponta d' ouro with a Nissan MP200 and obviously we got stuck more than once. Eventually we drove to Khosibay to head back to SA because we were absolutely fed up! We called Gamboozini and spoke to Stephane. He arranged to come pick us up at the border and drove us the rest of the way with all our camping gear to the lodge.
