Francolin Creek Guest Lodge is located on a farm in the Free State between Frankfort and Heilbron. The lodge is geared towards larger groups and the 14 rooms are ideal for a gathering, family or friends, as well as team-building exercises. The lodge has two lounge areas with roaring fireplaces as well as the Cattleman’s Bar. When wanting to spend time outside, the traditional boma is the ideal spot for a bush braai. Francolin Creek forms part of the Riemland Wine Route and wines can be tasted and enjoyed in their wine cellar. Game drives can be arranged where guests can view a variety of game species. As the name suggests, the area is abundant in bird life and ideal for bird lovers. The lodge offers horseback trails and both bass and carp can be caught in the lake on the farm. For the more adventurous there are mountain biking and 4x4 trails.
