Important Information
Following changes to South Africa’s Immigration Act, it is now a legal requirement to collect the following information and documents from guests when they check in at a lodge:
* A copy of the guest’s identification document or passport, containing a photograph of the guest. For South Africans, this could be a passport, South African ID, or South African driver’s license.
* The guest’s full name and surname.
* The guest’s residential address.
* The guest’s residence status in South Africa.
* Cardholder & ID/Passport is required at check-in, preferably prior to arrival
* Credit card used for online payment to be present at check-in
PAYMENT POLICY:
• A 50% deposit is to be made within 48 hours to confirm the booking.
• A booking is held as provisional until the deposit is received.
• The balance of payment is due 30 days before arrival.
• If a booking is made within 45 days of arrival, full payment is due on confirmation.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
• Cancellations are only accepted in writing.
• Once the booking is confirmed and then cancelled, an admin fee of 15% of the deposit will be charged
Other cancellation fees:
• Deposit forfeited between 60 and 46 days of arrival: 30%
• Deposit forfeited between 45 and 31 days of arrival: 70%
• Deposit/payment forfeited 30 days or less from arrival: 100%
