The old Victorian homestead, built in 1874, is equipped with all of the necessary modern conveniences in a secure beautiful setting, nestled beneath a milkwood

Wilderness is surrounded by many rivers, natural lakes and lagoons, making it an aqua adventure paradise and a great spot for water sport enthusiasts. After a morning of bird and animal watching from a canoe in the Wilderness National Park, you can enjoy horse riding, abseiling, kloofing ,or take a tandem paragliding flight in one of the best locations in South Africa.

Wilderness lies in the middle of the Garden Route and is a great stopover for weary travellers taking a meander down the coast in a rental car, or The Baz Bus hop-on-hop-off backpacker’s bus service is a convenient flexible and safe way to visit Wilderness. Fairy Knowe is an official Baz Bus Stop so they will drop you off at the front door.
