About Epupa Camp

Epupa Camp consists of nine luxury Safari-style Tents erected on stone platforms, each with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom. All of the tents have electricity and mosquito netting and an outside, shaded balcony overlooking the tranquil Kunene River. Large makalani palms overhead provide welcome shade from the midday sun. A minimum stay of two nights, ideally three, is recommended to fully benefit from everything the Epupa area has to offer. The adjacent dining room and lounge area also face the Kunene River, along with a lounging pool for cooling down from the midday hea

No communication from Epupa has been forthcoming wrt a refund as our failure to take up the accommodation was beyond our control. All in all very disappointing from this aspect. The foll... Read more

The distance from Opuwo is 180 kilometres with cattle, goats, donkeys wildlife on the roads so you have to keep slowing down to go through ditches and over dry river beds. Can be done in a normal car but 4x4 is more appropriate. The reception and showing of accomodation was quick and pleasant.... Read more
