Emahlathini Farm lodge has 13 units ranging from single rooms to family units sleeping 7
we are situated 19km outside the characterful little town of Piet Retief in the beautiful Mpumalanga province.
we are 1 km from the Swaziland border which makes a 2 night stay worthwhile and you do SWAZILANDas a day trip we will show you all the nice places to vist
we are perfect for a half way stop from JOHANNESBURG OR KRUGER

if you are heading any where toward ST LUCIA OR ANY OTHER NATAL AREA
It also just nice for a breakaway from city life and you can just relax and enjoy the farm and do some fishing and walking or biking or even offroad or quads welcome in the forest

We also take good care of reps tired of city life and offer good eates on LONG STAYS 1 WEEK AND LONGER

We offer 13 self-catering units with fully aquipped kitchens But dinner and breakfast gladly served
dinner just needs to be booked before arrival but bfst you are welcome to let us know once you are here
Bfst gets seved on the lake
Dinner is a SA BQQ with steak sausage corn on the cob fries garlic potatoes fries salad brearolls and dessert
we also cater for vegeterians and other dietry requirements pls just let us know in advance

Bre. Three units are open plan and the fourth has two bedrooms. All the units have braai facilities as well as a lapa.

We also offer meals on request.

Single travelers, families and business men are all welcome.

★★★★★ One night in transit - be sure to get good directions. Lodge is one minute from Swaziland border! They have farm animals wandering about - a number of friendly dogs too. ★★★★★ We spent one night at Emahlathini Farm on our way to Mozambique. The cottage was clean and comfortable and we felt at home. The road leading to the farm, about 20km, is a bit bad but manageable, the beautiful scenery along the way way makes up for it!
