Less than an hour’s drive out of Cape Town, Elgin Valley Inn is located in the breathtaking Elgin Valley, part of the Kogelberg Biosphere, a World Heritage Site. Surrounded by picturesque orchards, olive groves and cool climate vineyards, Elgin Valley Inn is quickly and easily accessible from the main N2 highway, with Grabouw town center only a minutes’ drive away.

This family owned inn has been lovingly created for you to experience a very hospitable and relaxing time.
We regret NO CHILDREN under the age of 13. There are a host of activities to do in the Elgin Valley, which range from activities such as mountain biking and quad biking to the more gentle pursuits of hiking, fishing and wine-tasting.

All of the guest rooms include an en-suite with showers. Room facilities include a flat screen TV with Open View HD channels, tea and coffee-making facilities, as well as a mini fridge. Four of our rooms have large verandas with views overlooking apple orchards and mountains, and two of our rooms has a private enclosed courtyard with solar heated plunge pool.
Two of our rooms has a separate shower and bath in a romantic setting. These rooms have a private feel and NO outside views.
One of our rooms has an enclosed porch with a garden view.
We also have one room upstairs with a open plan bath/shower and limited views.
Please feel free to use our communal barbecue area with an outside sink, table and chairs and tongs available for your use. A delicious two course breakfast is included in our rates. Full English, continental and vegetarian options are available.
