Escape to country living and feel like the lord and lady of the Country House when you visit our 4-star boutique guesthouse for a luxurious getaway.
Built in 1927 to a Sir Herbert Baker design, the Elgin Vintners Country House has been restored to its former glory, with all the modern comforts. Accommodating up to 10 guests in four luxury suites, the house is child-friendly and gives guests the run of the property.
The English country garden is the perfect place to experience the expansive view of the encircling Hottentots Holland and Kogelberg mountains.
Take a stroll across the sweeping lawns to discover the secret fairy garden, explore ancient trees and hidden places, and enjoy the sensory explosion of the abundant flower beds in the terraced garden first planted in the 1920s.
Explore our orchards, vineyards, hiking and mountain biking trails around the farm and along the Palmiet River or enjoy a game of tennis and a relaxing dip in the pool.
Make yourself at home and enjoy the wonderful natural surroundings and Cape Country charm.

Later check-in is not a problem, but guests must please advise us so that necessary arrangements can be made. No check-ins will be accepted after 17.00 on the day.
Luggage may be left with us after check-out and collected later in the day.
Right of admission at Elgin Vintners Manor House is reserved.
We regret no pets are allowed to stay in the rooms, they are welcome in our public areas for day visitors and has to be on leash at all times.
