We are situated 5 km from the historic town of Tulbagh and 1 hour and 15 minutes from Cape Town, off the R46. Apart from enjoying the tranquillity and the beautiful scenery on the farm, the cottages have large patios to enjoy sun downers and barbecues while watching the breathtaking views and sunsets. We offer walks to enjoy the fynbos, bird life, amazing sunsets across the Tulbagh Valley as well as great stargazing. Eikelaan is a working farm, farming with wine, olives, red Angus cattle, wheat and oats. There is an abundance of activities on the farm for the young and old. Bird watching is also highly recommended. For children, the cattle have proven to be a great attraction, especially during the winter months when the new calves arrive. Feeding the ducks at the dam is also a great pastime. Guests are welcome to bring their bicycles along for safe cycling on the farm.
