About Eight Bells Mountain Inn

The front desk is open daily from 6:30 AM - 10:00 PM. This property doesn't offer after-hours check-in. Front desk staff will greet guests on arrival.

Wedding Venues: Wedding venue seating 50 guests overlooking the mountains is offered for weddings with receptions taking place in our Oak Room Dining Room. Special packages are available.

Conference Venues: Conference room seats 20 delegates in U-shape and 25 in Classroom style. We offer half-day, full-day and accommodation packages. Equipment include flipcharts and pens, whiteboard and pens, overhead projector, digital projector and screen.

Family friendly: Children are well catered for with their own play park, dining room and indoor play area. We offer early kids meals with babysitters and toys and TV entertainment specifically for children.

Romantic: Our Swiss Village Chalets are ideally suited to honeymooners as they individual freestanding units with great views over the mountains. We also offer flowers, fruit bowl and champagne with discounted activities to honeymooners.

★★★★★ Beautiful setting with mountain views. A real old world charm hotel. Pity it is looking tired especially the furnishings in the lounge and we felt it was overpriced for what you get. We stayed in Swellendam at a pristine establishment for half the price. We expected more and were disappointed.

★★★★★ This was a beautiful and luxurious stay. It definitely exceeded my expectations. It had a feeling good much like the Drakensberg resorts. We had a stunning room, comfortable bed, underfloor heating... Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. We went on two short walks along the well mapped out paths - stunning scenery. Without question I will stay again - hopefully a bit longer next time.
