About Du Vlei

Enjoy warm farm hospitality on this lovely working Boland farm and relax in the large garden watching the sunset behind the Riebeek mountain. Du Vlei offers 4 self-catering units located on the bank of the Berg River, each with a fully equipped kitchen and living area with TV, as well as 5 rooms with fridges, coffee making facilities & access to communal kitchen.Enjoy breathtaking views over the vineyards and Boland mountains and watch the Berg River flowing by with the sound of fish eagles crying in the background.

Wedding Venues: We have a small, intimate venue that can seat 50 people with a dance floor and 100 people without a dance floor overlooking the Berg river, vineyards and mountains. There is a beautiful garden on the bank of the river and catering is done by Du Vlei.

Conference Venues: We have fully air-conditioned conference venue that seats 60 delegates. A projector, screen and flip chart with markers are available.

Family friendly: We have a safe fenced-off swimming pool. Huge garden to run and play in. A lovely farm where the whole family can experience farm-life on a working farm.

I don't think I will use SafariNow again.... I was also charged R1215 whereas the rate is R1200. we paid in an extra R200 (quite understandable) for the upgraded accommodation
