Dorset Cottage is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the peaceful suburb of Diep River on the Constantia Meadowridge border. The self-catering Flatlet is in a pleasant country garden, which guests are welcome to use. So this is an ideal place if you need a base to relax or from which you can explore Cape Town or simply a place to stay whilst on business.

There is an open-plan kitchen and lounge which leads onto a small patio next to the swimming pool. The bedroom is off the lounge and has a double bed and a single bed in a loft area above the main bed. There is an en-suite toilet and shower. The accommodation is therefore ideal for two people but can accommodate a third person, perhaps a small child, as they will basically be sharing the same room. It is not suitable for three single adults. The kitchen has a small fridge, two plate stove with a small oven. a microwave oven, a kettle, toaster and all necessary cooking utensils.
The main lounge leads onto a small patio and access to the swimming pool. There is a safety fence but because of the close access to the pool it is not safe for small children who cannot swim.
We are located within walking distance of two train stations and bus routes. There are excellent shopping centres in the area with a number of excellent restaurants. The False Bay beaches are just 20 minutes drive away and the centre of Cape Town no more than a 25 minutes by car.

We have a no smoking and no pets policy for the flatlet.
Parking is on the main driveway behind locked gates at night.
Dorset Cottage is not a party venue and therefore we do not allow guests to invite their friends to use the facilities during their stay.
We can arrange to transport guests to and from Cape Town International Airport.
Rates for short term stays: From R550 per day for 1 person and R700 per day for 2 people with an additional R150 for an extra person.
