De Oude Meul Self-Catering Country Lodge features 6 different types of rooms suited to accommodate 48 guests in total. The accommodation ranges from twin rooms, double rooms, luxury suites to two bedroom self-catering apartments.

Block A & B: Classic accommodation for 2 guests. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fan, bar fridge, microwave oven, kettle, TV, coffee & tea facilities, safe, dresser with hairdryer, plates, cutlery and cups & glasses. Each room has its own private outside veranda to enjoy your meals and drinks.

Block C: Self Catering units to cater for all your needs. Two bedrooms with on-suite bathrooms, full kitchen and lounge area. These units also have a sleeper couch to accommodate 2 children under the age of 10. Two large sliding doors lead to your private balcony equipped with a BBQ area and breathtaking views of the surrounding nature.

On-site facilities include 2 sparkling swimming pools, fishing, bird watching, wine tasting, secure parking, conference facilities, Wi-Fi, 4x4 routes, hiking trails, BBQ areas and a few friendly dogs to keep you company during your visit. Small dogs will be permitted as long as they are on a leash when walked around the lodge property.

Many tourist attractions are located close by to keep you occupied for a few days. The Swartberg Pass which has been described as the most beautiful pass in Africa is an absolute must for first time visitors and only a 20km drive from us. The Kango Caves and a variety of ostrich farms are located in the close vicinity with a 10 minute ride to Oudshoorn through the beautiful surrounding valleys.
