Staying at Daddy Long Legs Art Hotel is like sleeping in an art gallery. Each of the thirteen uniquely designed rooms is a playful experience that is miles away from your average hotel stay. Poets, photographers, artists, musicians and designers interpret sterile hotel room décor with humour, imagination, energy and endless creativity.
It is a place to meet others and is ideally situated for exploring the character and nightlife of the city and its surrounds.

The communal bar / lounge area is the perfect spot to meet fellow travelers and visiting locals. Relax, order a drink and sit on the balcony to take in the vibrant atmosphere of Long Street; Cape Town’s creative and eccentric heart. And, at the end of the day, each Daddy Long Legs room offers good quality beds, cotton linen and a private shower and toilet. It all started from humble beginnings, one simple idea - offer travelers, spacious, creative, spotless and good value accommodation.

Obtaining all these goals together isn’t easy nor is it the norm in the travel industry. Then again our guests aren’t one to follow the beaten path. They are independent, creative, forward thinking travelers. We accommodate guests that don’t want to stay in another regular hotel room, in another regular city, or go on another regular holiday.

Daddy Long Legs Boutique Hotel offers accommodation with a difference! Housed in a beautiful 4 storey Victorian (1903) building, this will be the place to stay when in Cape Town. Every room is a work of art. Different Cape Town artists, musicians and poets have been commissioned to do the rooms, so every room is wonderful and unique. ★★★★★ We did not stay at this hotel. We got lost, called and the gentleman at the hotel wasn't helpful. As 2 women travelling alone this was scary let alone the environment surrounding the hotel where men were fighting and drunk outside
