TERMS & CONDITIONS

Quotation, Booking and Availability
The quotation is only an invitation to do business and is subject to whatsoever price increases. The price can never be guaranteed and an arrangement and pricing is only concluded (then guaranteed), once the package is paid in full. All packages are subject to availability at the time of booking.

Bookings and Payments
Upon making a reservation, a non refundable deposit of 50% of the quoted cost is immediately payable to Dacla Lodge. Final payment is due no later than four weeks prior to departure for all bookings. Full documentation can only be released upon receipt of final payment. In case of last minute bookings 100% cancellation will be charged. Payment is required by EFT (bank transfer). In the case of an overseas bank transfer an administration fee of R400 per payment will be charged.

Breakage Fee – refundable
A standard breakage fee of R500.00 is charged to cover any negligent or wilful damage to property. This fee is fully refundable once the management have done an inventory check and assessment has duly been made that the facility is in order and in the same condition as received by client. Fair ‘wear and tear’ is not deemed as breakage and does not affect the full repayment of the said fee.

Cancellations and Amendment fees
Prior to utilising the product and/ or package, any amendment or any change by a customer to a reservation in whatsoever manner (date change, re routing etc) after full payment and issuing of documents constitutes a cancellation, all costs, including fees incurred or otherwise shall be for the client’s account.

Prices
Dacla Lodge will endeavour to honour prices quoted and published. However, where increases are as the result of currency fluctuations, taxes and other factors beyond Dacla Lodge control do arise, surcharges will be made to cover increases. It is essential that the client checks that there have been no changes in price prior to making final payment.

Price Guarantee
Upon receipt of final payment, Dacla Lodge will guarantee the price of land arrangements.

Liability of Dacla Lodge
As an establishment we accept no liability for any loss or damage which any client may suffer, as a result of on-site accidents or otherwise. Dacla Lodge is fully self catering and private and given that the establishment itself is very secure and has a zero percentage incident rate, there is the surrounding bush over which we have no control, there are also steep stairs and thus clients are cautioned to take the necessary care required - all elements considered. Emergency telephone numbers re. medical or otherwise are on hand, and management is well equiped and available to assist with all emergencies. An indemnity form is required to be filled in by all clients.

Cancellations by Dacla Lodge
Dacla Lodge reserve the right to and shall be entitled to cancel any quoted or product sold prior to departure, and in such case Dacla Lodge shall be obligated to refund all amounts received by them to that time by the client who shall have no further claim of whatsoever nature against Dacla Lodge arising out of such cancellations.

Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is strongly recommended for all travels, taking into account that the majority of quoted operators have extremely high cancellation/ date change penalties. The client should take out adequate medical and travel insurance for their travel with Dacla Lodge.

Health Requirements
Clients should ensure that he/ she complies with the countries’ medical and vaccination requirements, which she / he plans to visit. Dacla Lodge advises that the customer sees his/her local travel doctor.

Entire Contract
This agreement shall constitute the entire understanding between the parties and , as such, including this clause, may not be altered or modified except by an agreement in writing signed by all parties.

Governing Law
The Jurisdiction of the South African courts and the laws of South Africa shall govern this agreement.
