About Cypress Cottage

These two charming cottages date back to the 1800s and combine authentic Karoo style and ambience with every modern comfort. They are beautifully restored and furnished with antiques. The cottages face each other across the shady quiet of one of the most picturesque streets of the town. Each cottage has its own private garden and all our beautiful rooms are air-conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms, white linen, DStv and flowers from our lovely garden. A very well equipped and comfortable B&B. It's situated in a quiet street with good off road parking  We arrived early and were welcomed in with tea until our room was ready. Our hostess Hilary made us very welcome and suggested excellent restaurants for us to choose. Her staff were very friendly and breakfast in the morning was excellent.

Hilary and her staff were very helpful. The garden is beautiful and it is very generous of Hilary to share this with guests.

This time we stayed in Jacaranda but have stayed across the road in Cypress before. Both cottages are beautifully appointed with access to fabulous quiet, private & bird-filled gardens. Rooms very comfortable & service excellent.
