Relaxed country living provides guests with tranquil accommodation, a good night's rest and a hearty full English breakfast. Seven cosy rooms offer comfortable accommodation with a collection of wooden doors, floors and cupboards and rough stone walls.

We are situated down a quiet cul-de-sac in Howick, the Gateway to the Midlands and world-famous Midlands Meander. The guest house is close to all amenities including the retirement villages for which Howick is well known. The private hospital and restaurants are within walking distance and the spectacular Howick Falls are a few minutes away by car.

Family friendly: Children are welcome.Our beautiful garden is an invitation for children to play in. Guests are welcome to sit and enjoy a sun-downer or tea/coffee to end off a busy day in the garden bench area. Free wifi is an atrtraction to the older ones.

Romantic: Our three new rooms are beautifully decorated where guests can feel special during their stay with us. Although Country Lane is in Howick it is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac so it feels like you are in the Country.

Jenny greeted us warmly and had a lovely honeymoon surprise in our room! Really thoughtful of her. Really enjoyed the stay again and will definitely be back. The B&B has a very homely, family feel and is relaxing.

Our stay was comfortable with clean facilities and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The B&B is also very close to a number of good restaurants which made our supper plans easy!
