Important Information

1. Parking: Please park along the left side of the driveway in the designated parking bays. 1 parking spot is included.

2. Smoking: We kindly ask that you enjoy your smoke outside of the unit and responsibly dispose of any remnants, particularly given that we have pets. To ensure comfort for everyone in the house, please refrain from assembling cannabis products inside as the scent may travel to the upper unit.

3. Cooking: When using the stove, please turn on the extractor fan. Please ensure that you adhere to safety measures while and post cooking, particularly ensuring the stove is turned off completely.

4. Washing machine: This may only be used if your stay is more than 5 days. After use, please leave the washer lid slightly open to allow moisture to dry, ensuring optimal functionality for our future guests.

5. Heaters: The underfloor heating is not operational. We provide a portable heater during your stay. Please note that heaters use a significant amount of energy. If you are using other high-powered appliances, such as the microwave, washing machine, or TV, please be aware that this may trip the breaker. In the event of an Eskom power disruption (and we are using solar power), please refrain from using the heaters, as they drain the solar power. We recommend unplugging the heater when using other electrical appliances or when it is not in use. Finally, there have unfortunately been cases of heaters causing fires in homes and businesses, our neighbourhood included. Please ensure that the heater is switched off when not in use and that it is not close to anything that could catch fire.

6. In the "How to Access" section of your reservation, you will conveniently find step-by-step instructions with pictures, making it easy to check in.

7. Cleaning: If there is excessive dirt or staining of towels and bedding (from makeup, for instance), additional cleaning fees will apply.
Our cleaning crew has a strict schedule to follow, so please ensure you check out on time to afford them the time to conduct a thorough clean.

Before you head out, could you kindly take care of a few things for us:
* Dispose of all trash into the bins provided inside the unit by the gate.
* Empty fridge and cupboards, please do not leave any food behind.
* Remember to switch off all the lights and appliances, including the electric blanket, as well as heaters and/or the stove.
* Used towels can be left in the bathroom
