Designed as a two-story unit, Copperleigh Trout Lodge is nestled within our fully functioning sheep and cattle farm, providing guests with a unique and authentic countryside experience. The ground floor boasts an open-plan lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious dining room. For convenience, there is also a garage and a guest toilet. Enjoy your stay with complimentary DSTV Premium and WiFi, ensuring you stay connected throughout your vacation. We also provide a complimentary bundle of firewood daily, allowing you to cozy up next to the indoor fireplace or gather around the outside fire pit.

Featuring three bedrooms upstairs, Copperleigh Trout Lodge can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. The master bedroom is equipped with a queen bed and a single bed, while the second bedroom offers a queen bed. Both bedrooms come with ceiling fans, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The loft room is perfect for children, with a queen bed and a bunk bed suitable for four kids to share. This room also features a skylight that can be opened for refreshing airflow. The master bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom complete with a shower, toilet, and a heated towel rail. The second bathroom is shared between the second and third bedrooms, offering a convenient walk-in shower and toilet. All beds are fitted with electric blankets, and each bedroom is equipped with a hairdryer. We provide all linens and bath towels for your convenience.

At Copperleigh Trout Lodge, we pride ourselves on offering our guests an array of activities to enhance their stay. As our guest, you have free access to our Mavela Dam for "Catch & Release" trout fishing. Fully stocked annually by the NFFC, our dam is home to both Brown and Rainbow trout, ensuring an exciting and rewarding fishing experience. For those who prefer to explore on foot, our farm boasts scenic walking trails with well-maintained paths. Take in the stunning countryside scenery and marvel at the nearby iNhlosane Mountain, which offers the perfect hiking opportunity. As an added bonus, we provide a kayak with paddles and life jackets, allowing you to venture out onto the water and enjoy a leisurely paddle.
