Clamkara House is set within four acres of lush tropical gardens, in a quiet and exclusive part of Vipingo. We offer the main house and the beach house that can be let separately or together, staffed and very private. The position of both houses provides unrestricted views of the Indian Ocean, across the white sands and the coral reef. The beautiful swimming pool is surrounded by lush trees and the gentle sounds of the waterfall set a relaxing atmosphere. The beach is equally inviting with its own bar and an inner beach ideal for children or for playing games. High tide at the beach is perfect for swimming and low tide is perfect for snorkelling to see the amazing array of marine life. There are numerous areas to relax and soak up the peace and tranquillity of this special place, with no beach boys to hassle you or traffic to disturb your peace. Security is provided both on site and from an immediate response team.

The bedrooms in Clamkara House all have air-conditioning, but benefit from the gentle sea breeze which blows most of the time. They also have fans when additional cooling is needed. Both houses are ideal for children; when they are bored with the sea, they can flop into the pool and cool off under the waterfall.

There are 10 lie beds between the two houses, numerous cosy corners to sit, ample sofas and comfortable chairs under the trees or patios. Under the rondavel on the beach is a table that can seat 16 guests as well as comfortable bar stools. There is now a new hard tennis court for those who want to keep fit early in the morning or before a sundowner.
