From Katima Mulilo: Follow the B8 in a southerly direction towards Ngoma, turn left on to the D3512 and follow the signs to Chobe River Camp. Follow the A33 towards Ngoma, then turn right on to the B8 towards Katima, from here 12 km to the D3512 turn right and follow the signs to Chobe River Camp.

Due to heavy rains countrywide since early January, the access road to chobe River Camp might be closed to low or all vehicles. At the turn-off on B8, we have put a sign with the lodge contact details. Please call the lodge and make arrangement to be either escorted to [hotel-name] or to be picked up at the Police station next to the entrance to the Ngoma border (Namibia) and be transported to Chobe River Camp and back to the border post on the day of departure.

The vehicles can be securely parked at the police station during your stay at Chobe River Camp.

If you are entering Namibia from Botswana, please take note of the border crossing times at Ngoma Border Post: 07h00 - 18h00. Kindly schedule your border crossing accordingly.

NB Please communicate your estimated time of arrival to Chobe River Camp in order to allow the lodge to make necessary pick up arrangements on time.

Please follow the updates on Namibia's road conditions for the area you are travelling through and drive with caution.

The water levels of the Chobe River start decreasing as from mid-August, which will affect all water based activities. While the water level is low, boat cruises and other water based activities will be limited with little or no access to river channels.
We make every effort to maintain the activity as long as water level permits it. The safety of our guests comes first.
